unfriendly receptionist poor impression
The spa access was complimentary, convenient.
The receptionist was not friendly. They explained obvious things and seemed annoyed when we asked questions, it created a poor first impression. I was hoping for a warmer welcome after a long journey.

good dinner great stargazing beautiful sunrise hotel garden
i stayed for four nights and had dinner included. it was a good decision because other restaurants are far. the restaurant did a special dinner for new year's eve. that was a very good experience! the hotel location is great for stargazing. teide national park is a short drive away. i saw the sunrise from the hotel garden every morning. it's gorgeous!
the rooms are dated and the bathrooms needed some work. the spa lacked a four-star feel. massages gave both me and my partner neck pain afterwards. a separate bar would have been good to relax at night.

the staff is friendly and helpful, especially vincente at the restaurant. angelo at reception was helpful and professional. lisa at the spa provided excellent treatments. vincent and the restaurant team made every meal a pleasure.

the restaurant had excellent varied dishes, including vegetarian options. the food was tasty and offered plenty of choice. breakfast had cooked choices and a large buffet. the local red wine complimented dinner perfectly. i loved the desserts!

the location is perfect to disconnect and stay close to nature. there are amazing hiking spots. teide national park is a short drive away. the hotel is set in large grounds with a great view. the area is tranquil.

A Relaxing Retreat in Nature
helpful staff sauna variety large pool tasty restaurant
The hotel location near Teide National Park allowed convenient hiking access. I found the staff helpful with hiking recommendations. The spa facilities included several saunas and a large pool. The restaurant food (especially the veggie options) was very nice and tasty.
The hotel is a bit dated and could use some upgrades.

The room was spacious and very comfortable. It included a great shower and a nice bed. My Mountain View room had a great veranda overlooking the garden (it was perfect for morning coffee).

The hotel is about 1500m above sea level and close to many forests towards the national park. The location is ideal for disconnecting and staying close to nature. I found many amazing hiking spots in the neighborhood (so I spent my days active).

sunny terrace great food helpful staff safe problem squeaky doors
the breakfast was very good and quite relaxed. the staff were helpful and available.. the sunny terrace was a highlight. the food in the restaurant is great and the best in the village.
the room amenities such as the safe and squeaky doors needed attention. the room was adjacent to an elevator so some noise, but not at night thankfully.
